Ghana
In the heart of Ghana, Delany Academy stands as a beacon of hope, faith, and opportunity for young people seeking a brighter future. Inspired by the vision and values of the Patrician Brothers — who established the school in 2008 and continue to administer both its primary and secondary campuses — and guided by the enduring spirit of Bishop Daniel Delany, founder of the Patrician Brothers, the Academy is dedicated to forming young people in knowledge, character, compassion, and service.
Many of the students who attend Delany Academy come from families of limited financial means, yet each day they arrive — transported by buses provided by the school — with remarkable determination, enthusiasm, and hope. The Academy offers far more than education alone. It provides encouragement, stability, and a caring environment in which students can grow in confidence, deepen their faith, and discover their God-given potential.
Delany Academy continually strives to provide quality learning facilities, committed teachers, access to technology and books, and safe, welcoming classrooms. Yet the needs remain significant. The support of generous benefactors can make a profound and lasting difference — helping to provide scholarships, educational resources, improved facilities, and opportunities that many students would otherwise never experience.
By supporting Delany Academy, Ghana, you are investing in the future of young people who will one day strengthen their communities through leadership, faith, and service. Every contribution helps open doors of hope, dignity, and possibility for the next generation.
