Graham was by far the Delany Foundation’s most generous benefactor over the years, keeping it viable especially in the early years. The Patrician education mission in Kenya was a constant beneficiary of his generosity. Apart from his personal donations, he recruited DF donors from among his client constituency of dentists through the publication of a financial guide for dentists.
Just a few days before the recent Christmas, writing from his hospital bed at Epworth, Victoria, and suffering from advanced pulmonary fibrosis, he remained mindful of the Foundation in his last communication to his clients. That communication contained his following explanation:
It was to support the Delany Foundation that I undertook the publication of Financial Success for Dentists. I previously distributed a book called Synstrat Dental Stories, now out of print, to people who made a donation to the Delany Foundation.
His funeral service was held in Melbourne on 7 January at Xavier College, Kew. The Patrician Brothers were represented at the ceremony by Brothers Aengus and Stephen.
